Cenário das publicações científicas sobre as aquisições internacionais nos mercados emergentes: uma análise bibliométrica

Objetivo: Este trabalho buscou investigar o comportamento da literatura científica internacional sobre as aquisições internacionais das EMNEs, a fim de identificar os temas que estão emergindo dentro do segmento.
Originalidade: Este estudo traz luz a algumas contribuições. Primeiro, contribui para melhor compreender o estoque de conhecimento acumulado sobre as aquisições internacionais realizadas pelas EMNEs. Em segundo, em um campo como o de estratégias e negócios internacionais que possui autores de várias disciplinas é fundamental revisar periodicamente seu caminho evolutivo.
Método: Para a consecução de tal objetivo, este trabalho se suportou no método bibliométrico a partir dos trabalhos encontrados na plataforma Web of Science.
Resultado: Por meio dos resultados obtidos, foi possível verificar os países, autores, artigos e periódicos mais relevantes da área. Assim como a rede de cocitação e periódicos mais citados nas referências. Por fim, o artigo apresenta uma agenda para orientar as pesquisas futuras.
Conclusão: Foi possível concluir que as pesquisas publicadas recentemente foram sobre a inovação e a distância cultural e não mais sobre a adequação do modo de entrada, como ocorria no começo da análise. Houve uma predominância de estudos que utilizam a teoria institucional para ancorarem suas pesquisas.
